Assistant Controller

A leading tech founder focused Geneva based Family Office investing in public and private markets is seeking a candidate to fill the position of Assistant Controller based in Tel-Aviv.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Controller to join our finance team and support the financial operations of a diverse portfolio of international assets and entities. This role involves processing payments and transfers, overseeing local and international accounts, responsibility for cash management across banks and clients, compliance, collecting and processing tax materials across clients and coordination with external accountants, tax consultants, and financial institutions, and ongoing ad-hoc finance issues.

The candidate must be able to work independently with strong time and task management skills. Candidate must likewise be self-motivated and aspire to the highest standards of professionalism and personal integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

Engaging regularly with banks and monitoring wire transfers. Processing end executing bank transfers and payments (for capital calls, investments, personal payments etc.)

• Track and reconcile financial transactions, ensuring proper documentation and follow-ups

• Track and manage the liquidity across banks and clients (deposits, MMFs etc.)

• Track portfolio investment allocation, capital commitments, investment returns and other receivables

• Track, projection and oversight of distributions, returns and projected cashflows from investments and other significant cashflows

• Internal integration and oversight of the financial consolidation and reporting systems on a client basis.

Tax Reporting, Planning and Structuring:

• Engage in Israeli and International tax reporting

• Engage in the processes with third party accountants on items such as annual tax filings, capital declarations, tax optimization etc.

Requirements:

• Experience in financial operations within a Family Office, investment firm, or financial institution – Mandatory.

• BA in Finance or a related field – Mandatory.

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple processes.

• Project management mindset with a hands-on approach to problem-solving

• Strong organizational skills and sense of ownership and accountability .

• A proactive and adaptable approach to working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment .

• Team-player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills .

Advanced level Excel

• Fluent in spoken and written Hebrew and English.
