Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Full Stack Team Lead who speaks Python as good as his English :)

Skilled in React, but a true expert in Python (Django) with a proven track record in building scalable architectures on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using serverless technologies.

Reporting directly to the CTO, you should have a built-in hunger for building new things and embracing changes.

You will play a significant role in building the world's first Consumer Therapy AI Product (someone said RAG? But we mean a real one that works in production...).

This is a critical role in a high-growth, fast-paced B2C startup, requiring a leader who is both technical and people-oriented.

About You

• A Doer, hands-on, biased for action and not taking an advisory role. Know how to translate challenges into actions. Able to work both individually and manage multiple priorities while driving others around you for action.
• You're a fast learner, jack of all trades, feel comfortable in a fast paced, ever-changing environment. You can break down complex problems into steps and plot clearly how to get from A to Z while having the ability to zoom out and see the bigger picture.
• At least 4-5 years of experience as a Fullstack Team Lead in 2-3 different terms, preferably in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Own R&D Delivery—roadmap execution, agile ceremonies, and team management.
• Lead a Hybrid Team of Israeli and offshore full-stack developers.
• Drive Technical Excellence—mentor developers, review code, guide tech designs and architectural decisions. You will effectively be the default go-to in the team. You will also take extensive part in building the technical roadmap.
• Own L3 Escalations Triage - advocate for quickly fixing customer issues while making sure we address the root cause.
• Hire & Onboard engineers (we have open positions !)
• Collaborate with multiple Stakeholders—DevOps, Data Analytics, Growth, Operations and Product teams.
• Oversee Agile Ceremonies—daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and more.
• Maintain production excellence—actively take part in monitoring our production environment, foster monitoring state of mind in the team and ensure engineering doesn’t end with git push.
• Product Advocate—you'll grasp our product inside out and champion for the best possible user experience within the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience managing full-stack hybrid teams, including offshore developers.
• 5+ years of hands-on Python (Django) experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on React experience.
• Proven ability to design and scale distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
• Deep understanding of cloud architecture (GCP), microservices, databases, and serverless technologies.
• Strong grasp of CI/CD, observability, and data pipeline best practices.
• Experience managing and leading Agile ceremonies.

Bonus

• Some experience with AI/RAG/Prompt Engineering/ML-driven features.
• Experience with Stripe.
• Experience with React Native / Swift / Kotlin (Mobile)
• Background in B2C product development.
• Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, Sentry
• Familiarity with GraphQL, WebSockets, and real-time systems.
