Applications Engineer for Rohde & Schwarz Israel

ROHDE&SCHWARZ is seeking a skilled and motivated Applications Engineer with expertise in RF wireless communication technologies, system engineering, aerospace & defense applications to support a diverse range of customers.

Your tasks

• Providing technical consultancy and support to customers in wireless technologies, including aerospace & defense solutions.
• Applying system engineering skills to define customer requirements, develop technical solutions, and integrate complex systems.
• Conducting product demonstrations, technical training sessions, and resolving complex technical challenges.
• Developing tailored technical solutions to for selected customers.
• Managing technical projects while collaborating closely with customer teams to ensure successful implementation.
• Partnering with sales and marketing teams to promote company solutions effectively.
• Writing comprehensive technical reports, guides, and documentation.
• Training and coaching customers through seminars and workshops on relevant technologies.
• Ensure successful implementation and integration of the company's products/solutions after sale, leading to high customer satisfaction and potential for future sales.
• Provide technical expertise to customers, enhancing their ability to effectively utilize the purchased solutions.
• Act as a primary technical point of contact for customers, resolving technical issues promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with the support team to escalate and resolve complex problems, implementing fixes or workarounds as needed.
  
  

Your Qualifications

• Our office relocated starting February to Rishon Le-Zion- Millenia Tower.
• Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from a reputable institution.
• Strong background in RF measurements, working with equipment such as Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, Network Analyzers, and Oscilloscopes.
• Extensive hands-on experience in non-signaling RF wireless communication technologies and standards, including 5G, 6G, WLAN, LTE, OFDM, Satellite and more..
• Proven experience in system engineering, including requirement analysis, system design, and solution integration.
• Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer support with a high level of service awareness.
• Demonstrated self-learning capabilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
• High levels of initiative, motivation, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Expertise in automation, developing scripts for test equipment advantage.
• Customer facing experience - advantage. Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working in research institutions, aerospace & defense, wireless industries.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as MATLAB, Python, or C++.
