What's Guardio?

Guardio is a B2C cybersecurity startup offering security and privacy solutions directly to consumers - regular people, not corporate companies. We develop products you’d want for yourself, your parents, family, and friends. Our goal is to protect real people from cyber problems and crime. We try and avoid buzzwords, but sometimes those keywords are necessary: we help our customers avoid and combat the modern world’s security threats, like phishing, financial scams, malware, browser hijacking, identity theft, data leaks, and a whole lot more.

Guardio is a relatively small company (we just passed 90 people) on a rapid growth path, and we’re looking for core team members to join our team. We already have well over a million registered customers and plenty of new products and features in the pipeline.

So, what’s the job?

We are looking for a Fullstack Team Lead

You will:

• Lead a fullstack team through the entire product lifecycle—from ideation and architecture to development, testing, and production deployment—using our tech stack (React, React Native, Python, etc.).
• Own and drive processes while continuously researching and experimenting with new technologies, architectures, and standards.
• Build high-performance applications and automation systems using modern cloud infrastructure and big data tools to ensure robust, scalable solutions with rapid iteration cycles.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, R&D, security, UX & design, content, product marketing, customer support, and marketing teams.
• Drive continuous improvement by devising, executing, and measuring A/B tests on our user-acquisition flows, directly impacting our core KPIs.
• Stay hands-on by actively contributing code, conducting design reviews, and working side-by-side with your team to tackle technical challenges.

Well, our guess is you have a good chance of being that person if you check as many of these as possible:

• 2+ years of team lead experience and 5+ years in fullstack development, taking projects from initial commit to production.
• Expert in building scalable systems with React, React Native (TypeScript) on the frontend and Python on the backend.
• Proficient with cloud platforms and tools like GCP, GKE, MySQL, Redis, and BigQuery.
• Proven track record of leading projects from concept to full production.
• Experience with web analytics—defining user journeys, and setting up and evaluating A/B tests.
• Understands product marketing and user acquisition, turning marketing goals into technical solutions.
• A collaborative, fast, self-motivated learner with excellent communication skills, committed to delivering secure, high-quality solutions.
