What Are We Looking For?

We are looking for a sharp and talented in-house commercial lawyer to join our team. In this high-impact role, you will provide ongoing legal advice and support across various departments worldwide, handling a wide range of commercial contracts while also assisting with corporate legal matters, including labor law, fundraising, and general corporate governance. You will take a strategic and collaborative approach to ensure legal compliance and mitigate risks across the company. This role reports to the Chief of Stuff & VP HR.

Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of legal contracts with clients, partners, vendors, and third parties, including service agreements, NDAs, BAAs, SOWs, and MSAs.
• Support fundraising activities, including reviewing investor agreements, assisting with due diligence, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with internal departments (Sales, HR, R&D, Marketing, Delivery, Finance, etc.) on diverse legal issues and coordinate with external law firms in the US and Israel.
• Advise on labor law and privacy matters.
• Monitor and provide internal guidance on company-wide policies and procedures.
• Enhance legal operations by improving standard form agreements, playbooks, and internal processes.
• Provide general corporate legal support as needed, including immigration, M&A, compliance, and risk management.
  
  

• Minimum of 2+ years of relevant post-internship experience as a Legal Counsel, preferably in a fast-paced startup, venture capital firm, or a high-tech department of a leading law firm.
• Strong experience in commercial and technology agreements, including SaaS, licensing, and other commercial transactions.
• Experience in corporate law, including labor law and fundraising support.
• Strong negotiation skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Fluent English with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple matters and conflicting priorities while balancing legal and business concerns.
• Service-oriented mindset with a proactive approach.
