QA Engineer (E-commerce Platforms)

We are seeking a QA Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in manual and automated testing.

The role covers quality assurance of E-commerce processes and integrations across multiple platforms, supporting the development and operation of online stores for brands in the USA and Europe.

The candidate should bring solid expertise in E-commerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, Wix, etc.) and be skilled in both manual testing (approx. 70%) and automated testing (approx. 30%), with the ability to define, design, and maintain automation frameworks when appropriate.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual and automated testing of E-commerce workflows (checkout, payments, fulfillment, integrations).
• Create and maintain STP (System Test Plans) and STD (System Test Documents).
• Define and implement test automation strategy when suitable (using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, etc.).
• Support release management across staging and production environments.
• Manage and report on QA tasks and deliverables within the team’s project management workflow.
• Participate in remote meetings with stakeholders (marketing, sales, merchandising) in English.
• Deliver clear test results, identify risks, and provide actionable feedback to the development and

• 5+ years of QA experience (manual + automation).
• Proven expertise with E-commerce platforms: Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce (WordPress), Wix, or similar.
• Experience with test automation tools: Selenium, Cypress, BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or comparable.
• Knowledge of internet protocols and infrastructure: HTTPS, SFTP, VPN, AWS.
• Strong QA documentation skills (STP, STD, bug tracking, release notes).
• Proficiency with project management systems: GitLab, Trello, Monday.com, Jira, Asana.
• Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written).
• Ability to work effectively in a small, collaborative, distributed team.
