Product Manager

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Product Manager to oversee and coordinate the planning, execution, and completion of products. The ideal candidate will require a blend of technical understanding, healthcare domain expertise,  traditional product management skills and fostering effective collaboration among team members.

Responsibilities

Strategic Vision:

• Defining the product vision and roadmap for the AI module, aligning it with the overall goals of the medical records software.  
• Identifying opportunities to leverage AI to improve workflows and operational efficiency.
• Staying abreast of the latest AI advancements and healthcare trends.

Requirements Gathering and Definition:

• Translating needs into clear and concise product requirements.
• Defining user stories, use cases, and functional specifications.

Product Development and Execution:

• Collaborating with data scientists, software engineers, and UX/UI designers to develop and implement the AI module.  
• Managing the product backlog and prioritizing features.  
• Overseeing the product development lifecycle, from concept to launch.  
• Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, such as HIPAA.
• Stakeholder Management & Collaboration:
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders on project status, deliverables, and potential issues.
• Identify and manage stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• AI Model Evaluation and Validation:
• Defining and implementing rigorous testing protocols to evaluate the performance of AI models.
• Analyzing model metrics (e.g., accuracy, precision, recall, F1-score, AUC-ROC) and ensuring they meet predefined thresholds.
• Working with data scientists to identify and mitigate bias in AI algorithms.
• Ensuring model explainability and interpretability, crucial for clinical trust.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including reports, meeting notes, and task logs.
• Prepare regular progress reports for senior management and clients.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

• Foster collaboration across teams and ensure effective communication.
• Provide leadership, motivation, and guidance to project team members.

Requirements

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science or a related STEM field.

Master's Degree in Computer Science (with a focus on AI/Machine Learning), Data Science, Health Informatics or Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on technology or healthcare.
