Key responsibilities: As part of the development team, you will be responsible for mechanical development activities of the radiotherapy system. This position is responsible for mechanical development from design concept to design transfer. Candidate possesses a broad understanding of complex multi-disciplinary systems and design experience in the medical device industry.

As Senior Mechanical Design Engineer you will:

• Design and develop the CRnR X-ray converging lens based on solid state crystals and opto-mechanical design rules.
• Design and integrate mechanical HLAs of the radiotherapy system such as X-ray source and 6DOF robotic system
• Plan and perform FEA and stress analyses for design verification
• Plan and execute laboratory experiments and reliability tests of mechanical components.
• Collaborate with team members from other disciplines as Physics, Motion Control, Electronics and Software
• Prepare mechanical design documentation in accordance with relevant regulatory requirements, and Design Control.

Experience and Skills:

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience as R&D Mechanical Engineer in the medical device field in R&D.
• Experience in the design and development of large integrated systems.
• Experience with Opto-mechanical systems design.
• Team player with the ability to work on your own.
• Excellent English communication skills both oral and written.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Passionate hands-on approach

Advantage:

• Experience with X-ray sources mechanical integration and design.
• Experience with large scale mechanical systems such as CT, MRI, PET-CT.
