What's Guardio?



Guardio is a B2C cybersecurity startup offering security and privacy solutions directly to consumers - regular people, not corporate companies. We develop products you’d want for yourself, your parents, family, and friends. Our goal is to protect real people from cyber problems and crime.

We try and avoid buzzwords, but sometimes those keywords are necessary: we help our customers avoid and combat the modern world’s security threats, like phishing, financial scams, malware, browser hijacking, identity theft, data leaks, and a whole lot more.

Guardio is a relatively small company (we just passed 80 people), on a rapid growth path, and we’re looking for core team members to join our Marketing team. We already have well over a million registered customers and plenty of new products and features in the pipeline.

So, what’s the job?

We are looking for a Social & Community Marketing Manager to be at the forefront of our marketing efforts, increasing Guardio’s visibility and credibility across digital platforms. You’ll engage with online communities, spark conversations, and position Guardio as a trusted authority in the cybersecurity space. You’ll also play a key role in reviewing responses and community support to strengthen user trust.

You will:

• Be Guardio’s voice in digital communities: engage, support, and spark valuable conversations.
• Build credibility and position Guardio as a trusted authority in online security.
• Create content that’s insightful, relevant, and engaging across Reddit, X, Quora, and beyond.
• Stay on top of trends and build a feedback loop to inform marketing and product.
• Work closely with security, product and support teams
  
  

• 2+ years of experience in community/growth marketing or similar roles, and are skilled at building and nurturing online communities from the ground up.
• Active on Reddit, X, Discord, or similar. You know how to speak the native language of each.
• A creative, tech-savvy internet storyteller who’s always in the know.
• Excellent written and verbal English. You can break down complex topics with ease, and can write your own content.
• Comfortable with AI tools for content & image generation, research, and automation.
