About the job:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Node.js & TypeScript developer to play a key role in our expanding team. As a senior member of our company, you will collaborate closely with our R&D team to architect, develop, and optimize backend services and APIs that power our innovative solutions.

Responsibilities:

1. Code Development and Optimization: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code to ensure the optimal performance and scalability of our applications.
2. Database Integration: Leverage your SQL expertise to create and optimize database schemas, write complex queries, and ensure data integrity.
3. Performance Monitoring: Identify and resolve bottlenecks, bugs, and performance issues in our backend systems.
4. Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests to ensure the reliability and robustness of our codebase.
5. Infrastructure Design: Plan and design infrastructure for new modules and features, document your work, and coordinate tasks among developers.

Requirements:

1. Experience: a minimum of 7 years of hands-on software development experience, with at least 4 years of experience with Node.js + TypeScript and 2 years of experience with Python/Go.
2. Database Skills: Proven expertise in both SQL and NoSQL databases, including 3+ years of experience in schema design and optimization.
3. Microservices: Demonstrated experience in microservices architecture, with a strong background in implementing messaging brokers for inter-service communication
4. Containerization: Full proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes backed by 4+ years of experience.
5. Node.js Ecosystem: Expertise in managing Node.js environments, including Monorepo and Package Management.
6. Collaboration: Excellent coordination and problem-solving skills, with proven ability to effectively mediate between internal functions.

Desirable Skills (not required but a plus):

·      Proficiency in Python is a huge plus.

·      Familiarity with graph databases.

·      Experience working with big data.

·      Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

·      Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field
