Product Development Manager-Technical Apparel

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The product development Manager will manage the end-to-end development and production of Agilite’s first technical Apparel collection. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of innovative apparel projects, from design concept through production and delivery, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. They will lead and build out their passionate team and will collaborate closely with both the tactical gear design team and operation teams for maximum synergy and performance.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Project Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of apparel projects, including product development, sourcing, custom fabric development, production and delivery, while adhering to strict deadlines, specs, and budgets.
• Supplier Management: Oversee coordination with material and trim suppliers to develop custom fabrics, ensure production schedules are on track, materials meet quality standards, and pricing aligns with the budget.
• Quality Control: Responsible for ensuring all products meet the required quality/regulatory standards by coordinating with internal/external quality assurance teams for testing and compliance.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: create and manage project budgets, track costs, and ensure that financial objectives are met while maintaining product integrity& quality.
• Timeline Management: Develop and maintain full product life-cycles, project schedules, ensuring timely completion of each phase from design approval to final delivery.
• Problem Solving: Identify potential issues early in the process, propose solutions, and adjust plans as necessary to keep projects on track.
• Reporting: Provide regular updates to management on project progress, budget status, and potential risks or delays.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion or Industrial Design, Apparel Management, Business, or a related field.

• 4+ years of project management experience in the apparel industry.
• Strong knowledge of the apparel production process, including design, fabric sourcing, manufacturing, and quality control.
• Experience working with international suppliers, subcontractors and manufacturers
• Knowledge of apparel production software (e.g., PLM, Adobe Illustrator, Browzwear).
• Experience with/interest in technical/outdoor apparel design and manufacturing
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work cross-functionally.
• Attention to detail and an assertive, proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Experienced with the creation of supporting dashboard assets
• Ability to lead, plan and deliver multiple projects at one time
• Need to be organized, process driven, collaborative and comfortable working with highly technical projects and concepts.
• POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

● Native level in English-Compulsory, conversational Hebrew-Preferred

● Additional languages -advantage
