About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Director of Product Development to lead our Product Development & Design team and oversee the development of products from initial concept through final production.

This is a senior, hands-on leadership role combining team management, creative direction, product development, packaging, 3D design, and project leadership.

We are looking for someone with significant experience leading creative/product development teams who understands both the creative and commercial sides of physical product development.

Position Details:

• Type: Full-time, on-site position.
• Location: Ramat Ha'Chayal, Tel Aviv.
• Working hours: Monday-Friday (M-T 9:00-18:00 / Friday 8:00-16:00)

Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, mentor, and develop the Product Development & Design team.
• Set creative and development direction across multiple product categories and projects.
• Oversee the full product development process from concept and design through prototyping, production, packaging, and launch.
• Review and approve product concepts, 3D designs, packaging, prototypes, and final deliverables.
• Ensure products meet licensor, brand, commercial, technical, and manufacturing requirements.
• Lead packaging development, including graphic and structural considerations (die cut and materials).
• Manage multiple projects, timelines, priorities, and resources simultaneously.
• Work closely with Marketing, Licensing, Sales, Production, and other internal teams.
• Collaborate with international licensors, factories, suppliers, and manufacturing partners.

Qualifications:

• Degree in relevant field - required.
• Experience managing a product development, design, or creative team – required.
• Extensive hands-on experience developing physical consumer products – required.
• Strong experience in product design, packaging, and 3D development – required.
• Strong understanding of the complete product development lifecycle, from concept through manufacturing.
• Experience with toys, collectibles, stationery, consumer products, or related industries. - an advantage
• Strong visual and creative judgment combined with commercial and practical thinking.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator.
• Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience working with international factories, suppliers, and manufacturing partners – an advantage.
• Experience with licensed brands and international licensors – an advantage.
• Experience with 3D design / visualization software – an advantage.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Highly hands-on, proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-oriented.

Portfolio of relevant product, packaging, 3D, and/or creative development work is strongly preferred.
