Software Engineering Team Lead

A global cybersecurity company develops a patented Endpoint Security system capable of anticipating attacker moves and preventing attacks before they occur.

The company has over 100 employees worldwide, most based in Israel, and has raised over $55 million in funding. It operates two R&D centers for employee convenience one in Tel Aviv (near a train station) and another in southern Israel (also near a train station). The company follows a hybrid model with three work-from-home days per week.

The role involves both managerial and technical leadership of a team of six developers, reporting to the Director. The position requires minimal hands-on involvement (20%-40%) and follows Agile/Scrum methodologies.

The team focuses on developing cybersecurity defense and attack detection mechanisms running on Endpoints. Development is primarily in C++ on Windows, involving low-level and user-mode programming, working with Windows OS internals, kernel development, and driver development.

Qualifications:

• Multiple years of experience in software development with strong expertise in C/C++ and system-level programming.
• Multiple years of experience leading a technical team in a fast-paced development environment.
• Deep knowledge of Windows OS internals, with experience in designing secure and scalable Agent solutions.
• Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and initiatives while leading a team to deliver high-quality results.
• Demonstrated ability to make critical technical decisions that balance business requirements, technical feasibility, and long-term scalability.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity concepts, vulnerabilities, and defense mechanisms.
• Experience with security solutions such as endpoint protection or threat detection is a plus.
