Data Engineer

A startup specializing in monitoring advertising activity and business intelligence provides solutions that enable businesses to build profiles, analyze data, buy, and sell media across various online channels.

The company is profitable and well-funded, with paying clients. It offers a Big Data-driven intelligence solution tailored for businesses and companies operating on the internet.

Based in Tel Aviv with a hybrid work model, the company has 100 employees globally, including 30 in Israel.

The role involves working in a small team, maintaining a data warehouse (DWH), and developing in Bash, Python, and SQL within an AWS, Linux, and Big Data environment.

Responsibility-

• Design and maintain schemas and data structures in the DWH
• Develop data integration processes and pipelines using Bash, Python and SQL
• Tune and optimize the business processes using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools
• Work with AWS persistence services and APIs
• Interact with global R&D and Customer Support groups

Requirements-

• 5 years of hands-on experience working with large SQL DWH and developing pipelines in a Big Data environment - a must
• Excellent knowledge of SQL with advanced analytics data orientation - a must
• Proficient with Python programing and OOP concepts - a must
• Experience with Linux environments and Bash scripting - a must
• Very good understanding of data and schema standards and concepts - a must
• Experience in a Cloud Native environments, such as AWS - a must
• Experience with Snowflake or Vertica – an advantage
• Great analytical skills
