Senior Mechanical Engineer

Eitan Medical is a fast-growing global medical device company, developing and manufacturing innovative drug delivery and infusion solutions across the continuum of care: from the hospital to the home.

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Mechanical team in the R&D department.

Job Description:

Mechanical design of multidisciplinary medical devices and accessories with a focus on mechanisms’ development and injection molded plastics design. Drive all the mechanical aspects of design and development of new products, while supporting the company’s current product portfolio.

Requirements:

• Education: BSc. in Mechanical Engineering from a well-known university – a must.
• Job Skills:
• At least 8 years of proven work experience in mechanical product design.
• At least 4 years of proven work experience in designing accurate driving mechanisms (a must).
• A proven track record of carrying a design from concept to production.
• Skill at creating and maintaining accurate documentation of concepts, designs, drawings, and processes.
• Understanding and knowledge of the medical device regulations and standards (an advantage).
• Hands-on experience with building and assembling mechanical components.
• Computer Skills:
• Excellent hands-on experience with SolidWorks/PDM.
• Full control of Microsoft Office applications.
• Language skills: Fluent English (written and verbal)
• Personality: Excellent interpersonal relationship; self-motivated; independent; able to work under pressure, team player, 'out of the box' thinker.
