Senior Frontend Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer

The infrastructure group is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the core application infrastructure that supports the company's products and services. This infrastructure may include components such as APIs, libraries, and frameworks that are used by the developers to build and deploy applications.

As part of the infrastructure group you will have the opportunity to work on critical components that will be used across all teams within the company, work on challenging and complex problems while constantly learning and growing as a developer. As well as collaborate with a diverse team of skilled developers and contribute to the success of the company as a whole.

Responsibilities

• Lead the company’s frontend standards.
• You will have the support of the frontend guild and architects.
• Produce high-quality code: readable, testable and maintainable.
• Drive your colleagues to software development excellence.
• Develop and maintain the company's design system to ensure consistent UI across all products. This might include developing web components, setting typography, color, and other visual design standards, and creating documentation and guides for other developers.
  
  

Requirements

• 5+ years of Frontend development (preferably Vue.js / React)
• Proficiency in HTML/CSS
• Strong knowledge of software design and architecture patterns (e.g. event based micro-frontends )
• Experience with integration/e2e/unit tests
• Experience with modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
• Solid understanding of web performance optimization, caching, and package bundling.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
  
  

Preferred/Advantages

• Experience with micro-frontend.
• Understand devOps - CI/CD pipelines, K8, etc.
• Experience with Agile methodology
• 1+ years of Backend/API development
