Quality Assurance Engineer

A startup company in the AI field, developing a platform for facial recognition in challenging conditions, based on cutting-edge AI technology. Their system complies with the strictest privacy standards globally, enabling facial identification of individuals within crowds, even in the presence of face coverings, disguises, poor lighting, remote recognition, challenging angles, and more.

The company also offers a real-time facial recognition system using video camera feeds, providing high accuracy levels that address significant environmental challenges.

The company is based in central Israel, near a train station, with a hybrid work model, allowing work-from-home on Sundays. It has around 40 employees globally, with 20 based in Israel, and has raised over $15 million.

Responsibilities:

• Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications, including approval of PRs and official releases.
• Responsible for testing new features, both frontend (UI/UX) and backend features, across various platforms.
• Identify, record, document, and track bugs.
• Use Python-based scripts and tools to optimize parameters and configurations to enhance overall product performance.
• Collaborate with software/product designers to define quality assurance parameters.
• Support multiple product/research/software tasks by providing an efficient framework for sharing organized and accurate insights.

Requirements:

• 3 years of relevant experience testing web applications and APIs.
• Strong self-management skills, including project planning, task, and people coordination.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience with Git, Python, and Linux is an advantage.
• Ability to multi-task and provide support for multiple projects in various stages.
• Strong communication skills, creative, results-driven, quick learner, and a "Get things done" mentality.
