Business Intelligence Analyst

About the Role:

We’re looking for a creative, business-minded Data/BI Analyst to join our team. Your focus will be on understanding how users interact with our product, working directly with raw data, and turning insights into clear, actionable direction for our product and marketing teams. This is not a finance or banking role—we’re looking for someone with strong business and marketing intuition who knows how to make data meaningful.

What You'll Do:

• Analyze user journeys and behavioral data to identify insights, pain points, and opportunities
• Work directly with raw data in environments like BigQuery to understand how users engage with our product
• Oversee and manage tracking needs (e.g., working with devs on GTM and server-side events to ensure clean data)
• Build and maintain dashboards in Looker (or similar BI tools) to make data accessible and useful across the company
• Collaborate with product, marketing, and leadership to define KPIs and support strategic decisions with data
• Translate complex data into clear, compelling insights that drive action

What You Bring:

• 1–3 years of experience as a business or marketing analyst (not from banking or finance sectors)
• Strong comfort working with raw data in tools like BigQuery
• Familiarity with Google Tag Manager and server-side tracking (strategy/management level)
• Experience building dashboards in Looker, Tableau, or other BI platforms
• Excellent communication skills—you can distill complexity into clarity
• A strong understanding of marketing and product, with a creative approach to problem-solving

Bonus Points:

• Experience with tools like GA4 and Mixpanel
• Background in startups, SaaS, marketplaces, or product-led growth environments
• Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced setting
