English Media & Donor Relations Manager

Hiddush – For Religious Freedom & Equality is seeking an English Media & Donor Relations Manager.

Hiddush is an Israeli-Diaspora partnership dedicated to fully implementing Israel’s Declaration of Independence promise of freedom of religion and conscience, and equality regardless of religion, race, or gender. The organization operates through legal, public, and media channels, as well as in collaboration with other civil society organizations.

Job Description:

1. Managing Hiddush’s communication with the English-speaking world, including social media, the organization’s website, periodic e-newsletters and one-time publications (e.g., the annual Religion & State Index), press releases, donor relations, and more.
2. The position reports directly to the organization’s CEO.
3. The role is an integral part of Hiddush’s core team, working closely with colleagues and initiating collaborative projects to raise awareness of the organization’s activities and expand its impact.
4. Responsible for preparing grant applications and donor/foundation reports.
5. The organization’s office is located in Jerusalem, but remote work from anywhere in Israel is possible.
6. Position start date: May 1, 2025.

This is a full-time position with a salary of 12,000–15,000 NIS per month (depending on qualifications), with the option for a part-time position.

Required Qualifications:

1. Native-level American English; Hebrew at a native-level proficiency.
2. Proven experience in a similar role involving writing, reporting, publications, and donor relations.
3. Strong initiative, self-management skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
4. Proficiency in Office software and experience in newsletter preparation.
5. Social media management in English.
6. Significant advantage for candidates with experience in AI tools, graphic design software, designing and distributing newsletters via ActiveTrail, uploading content to websites, WordPress, or other website-building platforms.
