Software QA Engineer

Nonagon is a startup in the medical device industry, specializing in home-use devices for remote primary care examinations. We’re seeking an experienced Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer to lead QA for our mobile app and cloud-based software.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, cases, and reports based on product specs.
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
• Conduct thorough manual testing across the development lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 13485, IEC 62304, and FDA regulations.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1-2 years of SQA experience, ideally in medical devices.
• Proven skills in designing and documenting software tests.
• Proficiency with testing tools (e.g., Jira) and version control systems.
• Knowledge of medical device regulations (ISO 13485, FDA) strongly preferred.
