Business Analyst

A leading financial organization is looking for a Business Analyst for a key role involving data analysis, insight generation, and driving process improvements in sales and operations.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth analyses of sales and service department performance, identifying trends, opportunities, and risks.
• Develop forecasting models and reports to support strategic decision-making.
• Analyze the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes and provide data-driven recommendations for improvement.
• Support department managers with actionable insights and assist in decision-making based on key performance indicators.
• Assess sales team performance, evaluate success metrics, and recommend improvements in sales strategies.
• Work with large datasets, write SQL queries, and perform advanced analyses in Excel.
• Track business performance metrics, identify gaps, and propose solutions to enhance results.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, customer service, business development, and finance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least one year of experience in business analysis with significant financial impact.
• Proficiency in SQL and advanced Excel – required.
• Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and the ability to derive insights from quantitative and qualitative data.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience working with senior managers – an advantage.
• Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau – an advantage.
