R&D Director

KMS Lighthouse is seeking an R&D Director to lead our research and development initiatives, driving innovation and technological advancements within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of industry trends and a passion for developing cutting-edge solutions that enhance our product offerings. This leadership role demands a strategic thinker with extensive experience in managing cross-functional teams, overseeing large-scale projects, and fostering a culture of creativity and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the global R&D department, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.
• Develop and implement innovative R&D strategies and initiatives to enhance product development.
• Manage and mentor R&D leaders worldwide, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
• Collaborate with other departments, including product management and customer wing, to ensure successful product launches.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for innovation.
• Set project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, ensuring on-time delivery of R&D projects.
• Present research findings and technical insights to senior management and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in R&D positions, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of successful product development from concept to market.
• Strong understanding of current technologies and industry trends relevant to our products.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
