Role Overview

We are seeking a data-driven and creative Social Media Strategist to develop the overall strategy for our group's social media presence. Our Social Media Strategist will define goals, target audiences and key metrics, execute innovative social media campaigns that enhance brand awareness, drive engagement, and support business objectives. 

Social Media Manager Responsibilities

Social Media Strategy Creation

• Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with business goals.
• Define goals and create strategic direction for social media initiatives.
• Optimise social media strategies for community engagement, responding to comments, messages, and brand interactions in a meaningful way.

Performance Tracking & Analytics

• Conduct social media audits, and recommend improvements to enhance performance.
• Use social media analytic tools and key metrics to refine strategies as well as report on and measure performance.
• Interpret data and use insights to drive decision-making.

Content & Campaign Design

• Develop, create, and curate engaging content across multiple social media platforms.
• Set campaign objectives and measure their performance.
• Research social media and industry trends, and competitive benchmarks to inform content and campaign development.

Key Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Social Media Strategist or similar role.
• Understanding of digital marketing trends, audience behavior, and content strategies tailored to various platforms.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strategic thinking, analytical skills, and content expertise.
• Ability to work independently and remotely.
• Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.

Prior success and proven track record is mandatory.

Experience with organic campaigns preferred.
