Product Manager

Sense Education, an educational technology startup, is dedicated to creating AI-driven tools for scalable, fast, fair, and pedagogically rich assessments, both formative and summative. We are seeking a Product Manager to help bring this vision to life.

Key Responsibilities

As leader of the product organization, responsible for overseeing and enhancing our existing product lines. You will:

Be customer driven: 

• Innovate and Strategize: Work with leadership to develop strategies that solve user problems. Research, prioritize, and evaluate new initiatives, while deprioritizing those that don’t align with our goals.
• Monitor Industry Trends: Stay informed on technological advancements and potential threats, identifying opportunities for innovation and growth.
• Define & Execute Product Strategy: Develop a clear vision and execution plan for scaling our platform, prioritizing high-value initiatives.
• Communicate & Influence: Clearly articulate the ‘why’ behind product decisions, inspiring teams and gaining buy-in from stakeholders.

Drive Product Success: 

• Take a hands-on role in creating comprehensive product specifications, user stories, and technical requirements. You'll write clear, detailed product requirements documents (PRDs), feature specifications, and user journey maps that guide development and implementation.
• Collaborate with Development: Partner with our development team to create detailed roadmaps, release plans, and agile sprints that clearly define product goals and actionable steps.
• Write and Manage Tickets: Directly author and maintain tickets, including epics, stories, and tasks. You'll break down complex features into actionable items, complete with acceptance criteria, edge cases, and implementation notes.
• Bridge Plans and Solve Gaps: Align short-term actions with long-term goals, addressing any disconnects along the way.



Who You Are

• REQUIRED: Previous AI or Education related Product background
• Technical Product Leader: You have a strong technical foundation and can confidently work with AI/ML engineers and full-stack developers on complex systems.
• Strategic Thinker: You know how to balance long-term product vision with short-term execution, making data-informed trade-offs.
• Execution Powerhouse: You thrive in fast-paced startup environments, taking ownership and driving results with minimal oversight.
