About the Role:

We're seeking a highly skilled and collaborative Senior Data Engineer to join our Data team. This is a pivotal role where you'll be a key partner in building and maintaining our data infrastructure, empowering the entire organization with reliable and actionable insights. Qualifications:

Experience: 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on BI and data warehousing.

Technical Proficiency: 

• Expertise in Snowflake data warehousing and Finops - must

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) - must

• Extensive experience with DBT for data transformation and modeling

• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases

• Extensive experience with Python

• Experience with Agile development methodologies.

• Fivetran, Airflow - advantage.

• AI Agents development - advantage

• Experience with BI visualization tools-advantage

• Data Modeling & BI Methodologies: Deep understanding of data modeling concepts and experience implementing BI methodologies 

• Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.

• Communication & Collaboration: Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Team Player: A true team player with a proactive and collaborative approach.

Responsibilities:

• Data Pipeline Development & Optimization: Design, develop, and maintain robust and efficient data pipelines 

• Data Modeling & Transformation: Develop and implement complex data models to best practices and BI methodologies ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance.

• AI and BI Enablement: Collaborate closely with BI analysts and stakeholders to understand their data requirements and provide them with the necessary data infrastructure and support.

• Performance Tuning & Optimization: Monitor and optimize Snowflake performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks. Implement best practices for data storage, querying, and processing.

• Data Quality & Governance: Establish and enforce data quality standards and processes. Implement data validation and monitoring to ensure data integrity.
