Senior Software Engineer

As the Senior Software Engineer, you will work closely with the co-founders to help shape the technical vision. This is a hands-on role that requires deep technical expertise, entrepreneurial drive, and the ability to create a scalable solution, from prototype to production. You’ll have the opportunity to build the product from the early stages, solving real customer problems, and playing a key role in the company’s journey towards achieving its business milestones. 

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Partner with the co-founders to prototype, iterate, and deliver a product that meets market needs
• Design and build scalable, secure, and high-performing backend systems
• Drive technology decisions for ahead of launch and beyond
• Collaborate with the commercial function to ensure the technology roadmap aligns with business goals
• Take ownership of the full development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment and post-launch iteration
• Establish best practices in coding, architecture, and development processes
• Lead on future technology hires as the team grows

We’re Looking for…

• A passionate individual that’s hardworking and dedicated, with an entrepreneurial/ownership mindset, strong communication skills and a team player
• Fluency in English
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on professional experience in backend development
• Strong experience coding with Python. Additional modern programming languages are a bonus (e.g., Node.js, Java, Ruby, Go, C++, C#, Rust)
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and building scalable infrastructure
• Solid understanding of security best practices and compliance standards (e.g. SOC 2)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment with a focus on problem-solving
• Experience in DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies
