Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Distributed Systems Engineer to design and build mission-critical backend services for our enterprise cyber fraud detection platform. In this role, you will architect ultra-low latency, high-concurrency streaming pipelines handling hundreds of thousands of events per second under strict tens-of-milliseconds SLA constraints. You will take full ownership of services from high-level architecture and AI-assisted execution to global deployment, operational resilience, and automated telemetry.

Core Responsibilities

• High-Throughput Engineering: Design and operate scalable distributed microservices processing extreme transaction volumes with sub-50ms latency response targets.
• Full Lifecycle Ownership: Own services end-to-end, establishing full-stack instrumentation (proactive telemetry, automated alerting, and distributed tracing) for rapid anomaly mitigation and system health tracking.
• Detection Engine Innovation: Partner with Security Researchers, Data Scientists, and Product Managers to evolve real-time threat-detection models and decision engines.
• Cloud-Native & Infrastructure: Operate containerized microservices in Kubernetes utilizing modern IaC and GitOps practices (Go, Kafka, Redis, MongoDB, BigQuery, ArgoCD, Pulumi, Crossplane).
• AI-Accelerated Engineering: Deeply leverage AI assistants, autonomous agents, and AI-first development workflows to accelerate scaffolding, automated testing, and complex distributed debugging.
• Technical Excellence: Conduct deep-dive code reviews, lead technical design discussions, and raise the bar for reliability across R&D.,

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of professional experience engineering complex backend services and distributed cloud architectures.
• Language Proficiency: Deep mastery of compiled backend languages (Go, Java, or Scala) with strong fundamentals in multithreading, memory optimization, and concurrency.
• Distributed Storage & Streaming: Production experience with high-concurrency datastores and message brokers (Kafka, Redis, MongoDB, PostgreSQL).
• Cloud Infrastructure: Proven track record building and operating cloud-native systems (GCP preferred), containerized workloads, and modern CI/CD pipelines.
• Networking & Protocols: Solid understanding of networking concepts, high-concurrency HTTP/gRPC services, and secure API frameworks.
• Operational Telemetry: Practical experience with system health metrics and observability suites (Prometheus, Grafana, Opsgenie) to debug distributed production incidents.
