Technical Lead – Big Data & Cloud Infrastructure

About Us
Founded in 2007, MediaForce is a group of ad-technology and product experts operating a private media bidding platform capable of massive scale, reach and speed. With a focus on performance, we are a diverse team with experience in mobile app installs, lead-generation, e-commerce, media optimization and content. 

What You Bring:
•  7+ years of experience in software engineering & data engineering.
•  Deep AWS expertise, particularly in building cloud-based Big Data and ML pipelines.
•  Hands-on experience with Kubernetes/EKS, Kafka, Redis, and TimescaleDB.
•  Strong programming skills in Python and Golang.
•  Experience leading technical decisions in cloud architecture and DevOps.
•  Background in AdTech is a plus.
•  Passion for innovation, scalability, and high-performance systems.

What You’ll Own:
As a Technical Lead, you will have end-to-end ownership over our data infrastructure, shaping the technology landscape that powers our large-scale AdTech solutions. You’ll be responsible for making key decisions on cloud architecture, DevOps strategies, and engineering best practices while remaining hands-on in the code.
Your Impact
•  Architect & Scale: Lead the design and implementation of robust, scalable Big Data and AWS-based solutions.
•  Code Ownership: Drive backend services and distributed systems development using Python and Golang.
•  Tech Leadership: Set best practices, mentor engineers, and collaborate across teams to push the boundaries of innovation.
•  Optimize & Automate: Build and enhance real-time and batch data pipelines using Databricks, Spark, Kafka, and S3.
•  Own Infrastructure Decisions: Define and execute strategies for Kubernetes (EKS), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud automation.
