Quality Assurance Engineer

This is an opportunity to join a startup in one of the hottest fields in tech, tackling complex, unexplored challenges such as AI software integration, IDE plugin development, and large-scale code analysis.

The company is currently located in central Israel near the light rail, with plans to relocate to the Tel Aviv train station area within the next year. They offer up to two remote workdays per week and have a 12-person team.

About the Role-

• A sole QA position in the company, combining manual and automation testing in a balanced manner, with a strong focus on transitioning to full automation over time.
• Reporting directly to the VP R&D, this role involves defining methodologies, test plans, and best practices while participating in all stages from planning to execution.
• The product is a web-based system, utilizing Python, TypeScript, and Playwright for automation.

Requirements-

● 5+ years of experience in manual and automation testing

● ⁠Solid understanding of how web applications are built and function.

● ⁠Basic programming knowledge or experience.

● ⁠Passion for learning, especially in the fast-evolving fields of AI and web development.

● ⁠Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.

● ⁠Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
