PhD Student or Postdoctoral Fellow

We are hiring PhD students and/or post-doctoral fellows for advanced research in the field of discovering new materials for energy storage

Research Topic: Application of data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and computational electrochemistry to discover new materials for electrochemical energy storage devices. The research will include:

• creation of databases on the characteristics of electrochemical devices and the properties of the materials used in them
• calculations of material properties using computational physics methods
• processing of accumulated data using machine learning and artificial intelligence methods
• application of the constructed models for the design of new materials, optimization of the characteristics of electrochemical devices, and planning of experiments

Required knowledge and skills:

• fundamentals of electrochemistry and especially battery science
• basic understanding of the structure of materials and methods of their characterization
• Basics of informatics and Python programming
• knowledge of the basics of computer science, and machine learning, including deep learning
