Senior Mechanical Engineer

Xtend AI is looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team. We specialise in Robotics development and you would be part of a dynamic and talented group of engineers.

Required Qualifications: 

• Min. 7 years of Experience of Mechanical Design and Detailing using CAD software (Onshape, SolidWorks and similar). 
• Min. 3 years of project management  
• Well versed in Plastic and sheet metal design 
• Well versed in the usage of 3D printers for prototyping 
• Well versed in manufacturing technologies and cost reduction 
• Ability to work on 3-4 projects in parallel. 
• Open-minded with a strong desire to learn and grow. 
• Team player and Problem solver 
• English at a professional level (fluent in speaking and writing) 

Advantage if you have experience with:  

• Robotics systems and Robotic arms 
• Suspensions 
• Motion and dynamics calculations 
• Heat transfer 
• FEA 

Responsibilities: 

• Create complete products that include Sheet metal, Plastics, multi surface covers, OTS parts 
• Detail Drawings for manufacturing and QC 
• BOM, PDM and PLM lead 
• Contact/support to manufacturer
