We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Tech Operations Manager to support the operational needs of our global tech organization (200+ employees). This role is ideal for someone with a strong ability to manage processes, facilitate ceremonies, and work closely with senior management.
As a Tech Ops Manager, you will oversee various operational tasks, ensuring the smooth execution of engineering workflows, monitoring key development processes, and helping optimize efficiency across teams. You will work closely with engineering leaders, provide insights through reporting and analytics, and ensure that critical ceremonies and processes run seamlessly.
Responsibilities:
Process Management
- Manage and facilitate development ceremonies (e.g., Release Committees, RCA Meetings, Group Reviews).
- Ensure engineering teams adhere to operational best practices, tracking open tasks and forgotten action items.
- Monitor Aging Bugs and schedule review meetings when thresholds are exceeded.
- Organize monthly RCA (Root Cause Analysis) meetings and lead discussions around trends and improvements.
- Support backlog grooming, sprint planning, and overall process optimization.
- Oversee and maintain ADO (Azure DevOps) for task and PR management, ensuring proper follow-ups.
- Manage ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) processes.
- Serve as an admin for key tools including user management and system setup.
- Collaborate with teams to generate reports and dashboards (Looker/Power BI) showcasing development trends, commitments, and velocity.
- Work closely with Directors and senior leadership to ensure smooth operational execution.
- Analyze processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose improvements.
- Track cost statistics and efficiency metrics over time to drive decision-making.
- Assist in scaling operational processes as the company continues to grow.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills – ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of development operations & engineering workflows.
- Excellent communication skills – ability to interact with senior management and present data-driven insights.
- Familiarity with ADO, GitHub, Notion, BI tools, and Agile methodologies - advantage
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a passion for optimizing workflows and processes.
