Somatix is looking for a Sr QA Engineer to augment our QA team.

Our SAAS system is composed of Backend, Frontend, Mobile Apps, and a smart band (HW/FW) over AWS.

We are working with an agile methodology and are using bitbucket and Jira.

This position will be responsible for:

• Join the team in hands-on QA testing of the multidisciplinary system and its elements
• Lead the Test cases and test Scenario definition (STD)
• Implement the Manual testing
• Advance the automation abilities in the testing process to full coverage
• Define and maintain test coverage matrix (STP)
• Manage and maintain Bugs and field issues
• Support Manufacture site
• Collaborate with product team in product definition and customers support
• Collaborate with cross-functions on roadmap and delivery
• Identify and adopt new and advanced tools for QA testing
• Report to the Head of QA

Requirements:

• Relevant BA, BSc. or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience as a QA engineer
• 3+ years of experience in Automation testing
• Big Advantage - experience programming in (Python/Java/.NET)
• Advantage experience in a startup environment
• Advantages - using JIRA and Xray
• Fluent English - speaking and writing.

We analyze in real-time data received from standard wearables for detecting hand gestures (smoking, drinking, medication) and activities (walking, sleeping, falling). Then we fuse together additional data sources and search for actionable insights, to enhance the user’s well-being. The insights notify the caretaker staff regarding deterioration in a patients physical or mental condition.

We aim our efforts toward elderly care, hospital outpatients, and addictions-control. Our customers are elderly nursing homes, hospitals, health insurance companies, and clinics.
