Senior front-end developer

We are seeking a Senior Front-End Developer to join our healthcare start-up

Actual Signal is an early-stage digital health start-up revolutionizing neurological care after successful seed funding.

At Actual Signal, we are on a mission to change how neurological care is delivered. We are building a platform to serve neurological patients, with the patient app at its core. Our mobile app enables the capture of neurological symptoms using simple phone sensors, with best-in-class technology, providing meaningful insights for both patients and healthcare providers. . As we grow, we seek a passionate and experienced Senior Frontend Developer to join our team and help scale this impactful solution.

What you’ll do:

In this role, you will work on develop and maintain a friendly mobile application that collects patient data, integrates with our Machine learning platform, and delivers patients and their care team with care insights. Your work will directly impact the quality of care for thousands of patients, empowering patients and clinics with innovative digital tools.

Key Responsibilities:

·     Design, build, and maintain high-quality mobile applications using Flutter.

·       Focus on patient-centric design and create an intuitive, accessible app for patients and caregivers with Parkinson’s disease.

·       Develop features to capture and process data from cameras and phone sensors, ensuring accuracy and reliability.

·       Optimize & Tackle performance bottlenecks to ensure the app is fast, secure, and scalable for global usage.

·       Lead decisions on best practices, tools, and frameworks to ensure the app remains state-of-the-art in healthcare.

·       Contribute to developing scalable solutions designed to serve thousands of active users.

Requirements:

·       5+ years of mobile development experience with a strong focus on building and maintaining Flutter applications.

·       Proficiency in React Native and React is a huge advantage 

·       Deployment experience for both iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play) platforms

·       Bachelor’s degree in computer science/computer engineering or IDF tech unit graduate 

·       Experience integrating hardware APIs such as camera modules, health data, or sensor-based inputs

·       Proven ability to debug complex issues, optimize app performance, and deliver high-quality solutions.

·       Experience working with Firebase backend services.

·       Experience in working on senior-focused or digital health applications are huge advantage.
