Automation Engineer

A global American startup company is developing an innovative, first-of-its-kind satellite communication solution designed to replace traditional terrestrial antenna towers and provide cellular coverage and accessibility to any location worldwide.

The company is revolutionizing global connectivity through advanced space-based satellite technology, with backing from leading telecom giants.

The company employs 500 people globally, with its primary R&D center established in Israel, employing 100 people and expecting significant growth.

Located in the central region near a train and light rail station, offering a hybrid work model with one work-from-home day per week.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with engineers to design, develop, and maintain automation solutions.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python.
• Assist in creating and maintaining automation test suites for software, HW, and testing.
• Debug and troubleshoot automation scripts to ensure they run smoothly and accurately.
• Participate in code reviews and collaborate with the team to improve code quality and maintainability.
• Document code and processes to ensure clear and comprehensive understanding.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies in automation development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of previous experience as an Automation engineer.
• Strong proficiency in the Python programming language.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills.
• Self-motivated and eager to learn and grow in the field of automation development.
• Good English skills: speaking, writing, and reading.
