Data Engineer

A high-tech company has developed a platform for monitoring and measuring online media to prevent malicious activity, such as detecting fake news, controversial content, and digital fraud.

The company aims to make the online world safer and more transparent for the world’s leading brands, believing that its platform not only serves brands but also contributes to creating a safer digital environment.

Located in Tel Aviv near a train station, the company operates a hybrid work model with two remote workdays per week. It has over 1,000 employees globally, including around 130 in Israel.

The role involves a combination of Backend development and Data Engineering as part of the Authentic Attention team, consisting of five developers and a team lead. The work is split evenly between 50% Backend development in Python and Scala, and 50% Data Engineering.

Tech stack: Python, Scala, SQL, ETL, Spark, GCP.

Requirements-

• 4 years as a Data Engineer
• 3 years experience coding in Python\Java\C#\Scala
• 3 years experience working with relational databases
• 2 years of experience building ETLs or ELTs
• Good analytical skills and well versed with SQL
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Passion for development with high quality and a sharp mind
• Experience maintaining business-critical production systems
