The Samueli Integrative Cancer Pioneering Institute is an innovative research organization at the Rabin Medical Center. Position

We are looking for a Junior/Senior Scientist to join the translational research team. The position will support R&D of multiple, novel immunotherapies in a state-of-the-art facility with visible clinical horizon. The successful applicant is confident in designing and performing high-risk high-reward experimental scenarios involving rare clinical samples.

We are looking for candidates who

·        are passionate about design and execution of experimental procedures

·        are meticulous and reliable

Qualifications:

·        2 to 7 years of experience in medical or life science research, in academia, industry or biotechnology

Particular interest will be given to candidates demonstrating experience with:

·        Immunology or cancer research

·        Logistics, lab management

·        Molecular biology

·        Protein, antibody production

·        Viral design and production

Additional considerations will be given to candidates demonstrating specific experience with:

·        Flow or spectral cytometry

·        Magnetic cell sorting

·        Primary tumor, T, B, NK or plasma cell cultures

·        Migration assays and immune organoids

·        Co-culture experiments

·        Gene editing

·        Deep sequencing
