Magnus-Metal Ltd. is reinventing metal casting. It is a well funded early-stage deep tech start-up, with a mission to drive heavy metal casting industry towards the 21st century. Magnus-Metal revolutionary “Digital Casting” technology will replace the traditional casting with fully automated “CAD to Part” systems. Magnus-Metal machine is comprised of proprietary mission heads and heavy duty motion systems to cast metal parts automatically.

Magnus-Metal has proven the “Digital Casting” process and technology. We are currently gathering outstanding professionals to join our multi-disciplinary R&D team on the path to industrialize the solution.

Magnus SW & Algorithms team is developing CAD models analysis & preparation for “Digital Casting” application, machine management application and HW control SW packages.

Magnus-Metal is looking for QA Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in bringing the “Digital Casting” technology to reality.

A Junior QA Engineer is responsible for supporting the quality assurance (QA) team by performing various testing activities to ensure that software products meet the required standards and function as expected. This role typically involves executing test cases, reporting defects, and collaborating with senior QA engineers and developers to improve product quality.

The Junior QA Engineer role is an entry-level position ideal for candidates who are passionate about software quality and eager to grow in the QA field. It provides valuable hands-on experience while offering opportunities for professional development and career growth in the software testing industry.

The QA work is done by hands on “Digital Casting” machine operation and offline QA testing.

The Junior QA Engineer position is full time position in Magnus-Metal office at Revadim Industrial Park.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

• Test Case Execution: Execute manual test cases based on project requirements to validate software functionality and identify defects.
• Defect Reporting: Document and report defects, including steps to reproduce, screenshots, and other relevant information, using bug tracking tools.
• Test Documentation: Assist in creating, updating, and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product specifications and requirements.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, senior QA engineers, and product teams to understand project requirements and ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
• Test Environment Setup: Assist in preparing and configuring test environments, including hardware, software, and network configurations, for testing purposes.
• Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to verify that new changes or bug fixes do not introduce new issues or break existing functionality.
• Test Reporting: Provide status updates on test execution, defect tracking, and other testing-related activities to senior team members.
• Learning and Improvement: Continuously learn about new testing tools, techniques, and industry trends to enhance your testing knowledge and skill set.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Some prior experience in manual QA testing (e.g., internships, project work, or entry-level QA positions) – advantage
• Experience in Multimilitary industry – advantage
• Basic understanding of software development and testing methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Familiarity with manual testing techniques and test case creation.
• Knowledge of defect tracking tools.
• Good communication skills to document issues and interact with the team.
• Ability to learn new tools, technologies, and processes quickly.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
