Data Scientist

A Data-focused startup has developed an AI-driven technology with advanced algorithms that enables app owners to reach the most relevant users by predicting interest in real time and analyzing data at massive scale.

The role involves end-to-end ML model development, including research and engineering aspects, working as part of a team. Responsibilities include developing core models, prototyping, validation, production deployment, and testing ML products.

The company has 75 employees, is based in Tel Aviv near a train station, and offers a hybrid model with two remote workdays per week.

The tech stack includes Python, NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and SQL. The position requires analyzing complex datasets, identifying patterns, feature engineering, data cleaning, interdisciplinary research, and collaboration with product managers and development teams.

Requirements:

• 3 years of proven experience in data science or machine learning, with a proven track record of delivering production-grade ML solutions.
• Proficiency in Python and commonly used libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with querying large datasets.
• Familiarity with data pipelines, ETL processes, and data QA.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data challenges into actionable solutions.
• Deep understanding of ML algorithms and techniques.
• Experience in feature engineering, model evaluation, and hyperparameter tuning.
• Team player, problem-solver, responsible, delivery-oriented.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
