Senior Mechanical Design Engineer for Mechanical Engineering Department Management**

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead our Mechanical Engineering Department. This role includes responsibility for the development and design of complex systems, managing engineering teams, and overseeing engineering projects from the concept stage through to detailed design.

**Responsibilities:**

- **Mechanical Systems Design and Development**: Lead the design of components, mechanical systems, and structures according to project requirements, utilizing advanced CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and performing Finite Element Analysis (FEA).

- **Pressure Equipment and Piping Design**: Expertise in designing pressure equipment and piping systems in accordance with ASME and EN standards.

- **Engineering Team Management**: Manage, train, and develop a team of mechanical engineers, including task delegation, professional guidance, performance tracking, and ensuring project deadlines and budgets are met.

- **Engineering Problem Solving**: Address design and manufacturing issues, identify engineering failures, and implement necessary adjustments based on project requirements.

- **Design and Manufacturing Oversight**: Review and approve technical drawings and specifications while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards (ASME, ASTM, PED).

- **Cross-Department Collaboration**: Work closely with development teams from various engineering disciplines (process, electrical, instrumentation, and control) to ensure full integration of mechanical systems into projects.

**Qualifications:**

- **Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering** – Required; Master's degree – an advantage.

- **At least 10 years of professional experience** in mechanical system design and development.

- **At least 5 years of experience in managing engineering teams**.

- **Proficiency in CAD software** – SolidWorks, AutoCAD.

- **Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA)**.

- **Familiarity with international standards** (ASME, ASTM, PED) – Required.

- **Fluent in English**.
