Strategic Account Executive – AI & EdTech
This will be the first sales hire in the organization.
A fast-growing AI-driven education technology company is on a mission to revolutionize language learning. By leveraging advanced AI, we provide a personalized learning experience that helps users improve fluency through real-time feedback and interactive conversations.
Following rapid success in the B2C market, we’re seeing strong demand from businesses of all sizes—mid-market to enterprise—looking to provide language-learning solutions to their employees. As we expand into the B2B space, we’re looking for a Senior Account Executive to take the lead in developing and scaling our enterprise sales strategy.

Your Role
We’re seeking a driven Senior Account Executive to shape our B2B sales efforts in the AI-powered education sector. As the first dedicated sales hire focused on selling enterprise licenses, you’ll have the opportunity to define and execute a strategy that will drive the company’s business growth.
This is a true ground-floor opportunity, where your work will directly influence the company’s trajectory. You’ll collaborate closely with teams across the organization and report directly to executive leadership.
- Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the full sales cycle from lead generation and prospecting to negotiation and closing deals.
- Develop and implement a scalable sales strategy to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in HR, L&D, and corporate training departments.
- Work closely with product and engineering teams to provide market insights and ensure our solutions align with client needs.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, analyze competitor activity, and refine sales strategies accordingly.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to drive brand awareness and generate leads.
- RequirementsFluent English, both spoken and written.
- 3-5 years of SaaS sales experience in a full-cycle Account Executive role.
- 2+ years in a hunter role, with a track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Experience selling L&D or HR tech solutions to corporate learning, HR, or enablement teams.
- Strong ability to close deals remotely and navigate virtual sales cycles.
- Proficiency in sales tech tools (e.g., Salesforce, Gong, Salesloft) and the ability to train others in their use.
- Experience selling to mid-market and enterprise clients, with comfort handling both high-volume and complex, longer-cycle deals.
- Comfortable working in an early-stage startup environment, building processes from the ground up, and adapting to ambiguity.
- Willingness to travel internationally for client meetings and industry events.
- Bonus PointsPassion for language learning and fluency in multiple languages.
- Experience as an SDR earlier in your career, with a strong background in outbound sales.
- Prior success selling HR or L&D-focused solutions.
