Data Engineer

A high-tech company that has developed a platform for monitoring and measuring online media to prevent fraudulent activities, such as detecting fake news, controversial content, and digital fraud.

Its code processes billions of ads daily, utilizing various Big Data technologies to analyze massive-scale content in real time.

Headquartered in Tel Aviv near a train station, the company offers a hybrid work model with two remote workdays per week. It has over 1,000 employees globally, including around 130 in Israel.

The role combines Backend development and Data Engineering as part of the Authentic Attention, which consists of five developers and a Team Lead. The work is split 50% Backend development using Python and Scala and 50% Data Engineering.

Tech stack: Python, Scala, SQL, ETL, Spark, and GCP.

Requirements-

• 4 years in Software Development
• 3 years experience coding in Python\Java\C#\Scala and a like
• 3 years experience working with relational databases
• 2 years of experience building ETLs or ELTs
• Good analytical skills and well versed with SQL
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Passion for development with high quality and a sharp mind
• Experience maintaining business-critical production systems
