Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Management Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing data collection tools, managing data workflows, and ensuring high-quality data for analysis and reporting. This role requires technical expertise, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with field teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications And Skills

• Advanced expertise in Power BI, SurveyCTO, and CATI systems.
• Strong experience in developing XLS forms and managing data collection tools.
• Proficiency in programming libraries like R, Pandas, and Seaborn.
• Excellent skills in GIS mapping and data visualization.
• Strong organizational and communication skills to manage teams and field operations effectively.
  
  

Preferred Certifications

• Certifications in Data Analysis, GIS, Power BI, SurveyCTO, or similar tools are highly desirable.
  
  

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Collection and Tool Development:
• Develop digital data collection tools on platforms like Kobo, SurveyCTO, or similar platforms.
• Ensure sufficient validation rules and skip patterns are incorporated in the tools.
• Train data collectors on the use of digital data collection tools.
• Field Coordination and Data Quality Control:
• Coordinate and follow up with field supervisors and data collectors to ensure timely data collection.
• Monitor the quality of data daily and guide field teams in correcting discrepancies.
• Verify collected data using GPS coordinates and callbacks.
• Data Management and Analysis:
• Perform data cleaning and organization using tools like Excel and advanced programming libraries.
• Analyze data and generate graphs, tables, and dashboards for reports based on project indicators.
• Translate data collection tools and field data as needed.
• GIS Mapping and Advanced System Development:
• Generate professional maps for planning and analysis using GIS tools.
• Develop comprehensive systems and applications for data collection and management.
• Advanced Reporting and Visualization:
• Design interactive dashboards and data presentations using Power BI and other advanced tools.
• Utilize advanced programming tools and libraries such as R, Pandas, and Seaborn for data visualization.
• Apply the CATI System for remote data collection processes.
• Collaboration and Support:
• Collaborate with the Data Management Manager to ensure efficient data workflows and reporting.
• Support office requirements related to database and data management.
