Position Overview:
We are partnering with a confidential client to find a dynamic and experienced Regional Business Development Executive – Institutional Partnerships for the Israeli market. This is a remote, flexible role with options for part-time / advisory / agent engagement.
The role focuses on building relationships, driving strategic client acquisition, and providing advisory services to high-level institutional clients, including hedge funds, quantitative traders, and high-frequency trading firms. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in financial services and a proven track record of working with institutional clients in Israel.
Your efforts will directly contribute to expanding the firm’s presence in Israel, adapting solutions to the unique needs of institutional traders in the region, and enhancing the firm’s competitive positioning in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition & Market Strategy:
- Develop and execute tailored strategies to attract top institutional clients in Israel, such as hedge funds, algorithmic traders, and quantitative trading firms.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior decision-makers in Israel’s leading trading firms, proprietary trading firms and hedge funds.
- Identify emerging opportunities in Israel’s financial markets and work to expand the firm’s institutional client base.
Strategic Advisory & Product Development:
- Advise Israeli clients on customizing product offerings to meet the performance, reliability, and speed requirements of sophisticated institutional traders.
- Collaborate closely with the internal product and technology teams to ensure that the firm’s services are aligned with the specific needs of Israeli institutional traders.
- Support the scaling of services for Israeli clients to ensure they align with the unique demands of high-frequency traders and other institutional clients.
Client Feedback & Market Insights:
- Build structured feedback loops with Israeli clients to adapt offerings to evolving market conditions and client needs.
- Provide actionable insights on product improvements, market positioning, and competitive advantages, specifically tailored to the Israeli market.
- Keep abreast of regulatory changes, industry trends, and competitive forces in Israel to ensure the firm’s services remain aligned with the market’s needs.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Extensive experience in financial services, focusing on brokerage models, high-frequency trading, and working with institutional clients such as hedge funds and algorithmic trading firms.
- Deep understanding of trade execution technologies and institutional trading strategies, particularly for high-frequency and algorithmic traders.
- A proven track record of successfully acquiring, managing, and growing relationships with institutional clients, particularly in the areas of hedge funds, quantitative trading, and algorithmic trading.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build long-term, trusted relationships at senior levels.
- A strategic mindset and business development experience in competitive and fast-paced markets.
For the Israel Market:
- Proven experience working with institutional clients in Israel and a strong understanding of the Israeli financial ecosystem, including market dynamics, and trading practices.
- Familiarity with the specific needs of Israeli institutional clients, including high-frequency trading and quantitative strategies.
