Field Data Analyst

LayerX is seeking a Field Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in intelligence gathering, exceptional English skills, and experience in SQL or database management. LayerX is a global company and as such at times global working hours are expected.

• Analyze and interpret data related to cybersecurity threats, trends, and incidents.
• Conduct intelligence gathering using open-source and proprietary tools.
• Develop, maintain, and query SQL databases to extract relevant insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce actionable intelligence reports.
• Monitor and assess data for potential anomalies or indicators of compromise.
• Support the development of dashboards, visualizations, and data models to inform decision-making.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all reporting and analysis tasks.
  
  

• Native or near-native English proficiency (written and spoken).
• at least 2 years of experience in data analysis or intelligence gathering.
• Proficient in SQL and database management (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, including threat intelligence and risk assessment.
  
  

• Experience with scripting for data analysis.
• Knowledge of APIs for data integration and automation.
