Overview:

Royal York Property Management (RYPM) is seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technology strategy and drive innovation across our property management services. The CTO will play a critical role in enhancing our digital capabilities, improving operational efficiencies, and enabling scalable growth through technology solutions. Key Responsibilities:

• Technology Strategy & Leadership:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive technology roadmap aligned with RYPM's business objectives.
• Drive digital transformation initiatives to streamline operations, enhance customer experience, and optimize business processes.
• Identify and implement technology solutions that provide a competitive edge in the property management industry.
• Serve as a key member of the executive team, advising on technology trends and opportunities for growth.
• System Integration & Development:
• Oversee the development, integration, and maintenance of internal platforms, including CRM systems, client portals, and property management software.
• Ensure the seamless integration of technology solutions across all business units, improving communication and data sharing.
• Lead efforts to modernize infrastructure, enhance automation, and develop customized solutions to meet specific business needs.
• Data Management & Security:
• Establish data governance frameworks to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance.
• Oversee the development and implementation of data analytics tools to improve decision-making and operational efficiency.
• Ensure the company’s IT systems are secure, scalable, and resilient against potential threats.
• Innovation & Product Development:
• Collaborate with various departments to identify opportunities for product development that can enhance service offerings.
• Lead the design and implementation of new technology initiatives, including mobile applications and web platforms.
• Drive innovation within the company by identifying emerging technologies that can improve property management services and tenant experience.
• Team Management & Development:
• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing technology team, including developers, engineers, and IT support staff.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the technology team.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and drive the performance of the technology department.
• Vendor Management & Budgeting:
• Manage relationships with external technology vendors, ensuring quality service delivery and cost-effectiveness.
• Oversee technology budgets, ensuring investments align with strategic priorities and deliver value to the company.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a senior technology leadership role, ideally as a CTO, VP of Technology, or Head of IT in a fast-paced environment.
• Extensive experience with digital transformation, technology integration, and implementing scalable technology solutions.
• Strong understanding of data management, cybersecurity, and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with CRM systems, property management software, or related applications is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple technology projects simultaneously.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, and business acumen.
• Strong English communication skills, with the ability to articulate technology solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
