System Engineer – Complex Defense Systems

• Lead the system engineering and technical management of multidisciplinary defense projects, including system architecture, design, and integration.
• Full responsibility for planning, execution, and monitoring of all R&D activities, including budget management (materials and labor).
• Manage and lead technical interactions with customers in Israel and abroad, including design reviews, acceptance testing, and system deployment.
• Define system requirements, write specifications, and manage system design documents.
• Lead the integration, testing, and validation phases to ensure system performance meets operational requirements.
• Oversee the development and integration of complex systems involving propulsion, RF, electronics, software, control, and mechanics.
• Work closely with engineering teams, production, and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

• Education: BSc/MSc in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field. ME in Systems Engineering – an advantage.
• Experience: 7+ years of system engineering and technical leadership experience in defense-related projects.
• Proven experience managing complex multidisciplinary projects from concept to delivery.
• Strong knowledge of propulsion systems, RF communications, hardware, software, and mechanical design.
• Experience writing technical specifications and system requirements in English.
• Ability to lead and manage cross-disciplinary development teams.
• Experience working with R&D, engineering, business development, and international customers.
• Background in military-grade systems, defense platforms, and high-reliability environments – an advantage.
• Fluent in English – speaking, reading, and writing.
