Senior VMware & Veeam Infrastructure Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join a leading organization in a challenging and professional role. The position involves planning, designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise virtualization environments and backup systems, while leading complex technology projects and working directly with customers.

• Design, build, and implement VMware vSphere environments from scratch, including ESXi and vCenter.
• Perform migrations, version upgrades, and expansions of existing virtualization environments.
• Manage, maintain, and optimize virtualization infrastructures, with a focus on High Availability (HA), performance, and resilience.
• Design and implement enterprise backup solutions using Veeam Backup & Replication, including backup and recovery policies.
• Perform upgrades, monitoring, ongoing maintenance, and advanced troubleshooting of backup systems.
• Work with Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions and Backup & Recovery processes.
• Diagnose and resolve complex end-to-end infrastructure issues, including log analysis and performance and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Work with enterprise storage solutions and lead complex technology projects in customer environments.

• At least 5 years of experience in System Administration, Infrastructure, or Professional Services roles.
• Extensive hands-on experience with VMware vSphere environments, including ESXi and vCenter – Mandatory.
• Significant experience with Veeam Backup & Replication, including designing, implementing, and managing backup environments from scratch – Mandatory.
• Proven experience in designing, implementing, upgrading, and maintaining virtualization infrastructures and backup systems.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure architecture, High Availability, performance optimization, and business continuity.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills and experience resolving complex infrastructure issues.
• Proven experience leading complex technology projects in customer-facing environments.
