Operational Excellence Engineer

General description of Role:

Management and implementation of cost savings projects.

Implement OpEx tools and culture, drive the organization to continuous improvement using Lean methodologies such as VSM, problem solving, root-cause analysis and more.

Improve the organization's health and performance

Responsibilities:

1.      Cost savings Projects management – planning, ROI, implementation and monitoring

2.      Implement OpEx tools (VSM, OEE, 5S, Gemba walks, Problem Solving and more)

3.      Maintain and analyze organization's KPIs and reports

4.      Improve cross functional processes and routines

5.      Perform current state analysis, build improvement plan and support implementation

6.      Analyze processes, identify improvement opportunities and support solution implementation

1. Perform OpEx trainings

Qualifications:

BSc industrial engineering or Other Eng. degree (Mechanical /Chemical Engineering / Materials / Biotechnology)

3-5 years’ experience in a similar position in the industry or Project Manager in consulting company leading and implementing Continuous Improvement processes and projects in production companies 

Project management experience

Experience in medical device/highly regulated production companies - advantage

Technical background – advantage

Presentation skills

Office skills with an emphasis on Excel and Power-Point

High level of English (writing, talking, reading)

Analytical thinking and data analysis

Good interpersonal skills

Ability to Influence without authority
