Senior Frontend Developer

We seek an experienced and motivated Frontend Lead to join our team and take ownership of GeoEdge's frontend domain. This fully hands-on role combines technical expertise and leadership. As the Frontend Tech Lead, you will be pivotal in shaping our product and influencing frontend strategy.

What You'll Do:

In this role, you will own all frontend design and development within the company. Your daily responsibilities will include overseeing and managing all frontend development. You'll conduct design and code reviews to ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable code and provide hands-on technical leadership by implementing best practices, methodologies, and cutting-edge tools.

Your work will involve close collaboration with the VP of R&D and other teams to align frontend efforts with company objectives. This includes diving deep into day-to-day challenges, solving complex problems, and actively contributing to the codebase as a hands-on developer. You will also be a key player in strategic decisions about frontend architecture, tools, and frameworks.

What You Bring:

• Extensive Experience: You have 5+ years of hands-on experience as a JavaScript/TypeScript developer, with a deep understanding of frontend technologies.
• Leadership Skills: You bring 2+ years of experience as a tech lead and a proven ability to guide and mentor developers effectively.
• Technical Mastery: You have strong knowledge of Angular, NestJS, TypeScript, HTML/CSS/SCSS, and GraphQL. You are proficient in tools and methodologies such as Nrwl and monorepos and testing frameworks for unit, e2e, and integration testing.
• Cloud Expertise: Experience with the AWS ecosystem is essential.
• Advantageous Skills: Familiarity with big-data systems, ElasticSearch, MySQL/PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, RxJs/NgRx/Redux, and state management methodologies is highly desirable.
• AdTech Savvy: Prior experience in the AdTech industry is a significant plus.
• Additional Frontend Knowledge: Exposure to React, Vue.js, and managing offshore teams will set you apart.
